Jet JW1034 4-Inch by 10-Feet Clear Wire Reinforced Dust Collection Hose Review

In comparision to the counterpart black hose, the only advantage I can think of is that you can see thru this hose to easily identify where any possible clogs are located.With the black hose you have to use trial and error, and possible take the entire DC system apart to find the clog.With the clear hose, you can see it and go right to the problem spot.Is this worth almost double the price of a black hose?
That can only be answered by the user.I'm using the clear hose only off of machinery where large chips are make, my lathe and bore machine (drill press).Other than that, I opted for the cheaper black hose.I also have those two machines located the closest to the dust collection machine, so the hose length, and chip travel, is the least possible.
