Very disappointed with the hose reel. Other than being easy to assemble, couldn't find much about it I liked. Hose capacity is overstated, construction is flimsy.
Paid top dollar thinking this might be something that would last a long time, but have the feeling I might be looking for a replacement next spring. Lots of better options available, for a lot less money.

Hitachi 19413F 100-Foot-by-1/4-Inch Polyurethane Air Hose Review

We just ordered two more of these from Amazon (they are significantly cheaper at the moment than the local stores).These are the favorites among our construction company due to the light weight, durability, and the fact that they really don't kink.

For those of you who are just working around the house, any old hose will do.But for those of you in the professional arena, the lighter weight will be a blessing in the 8th hour when you're trying to get those walls up before dark so that you can get paid in the next draw.We stick with the 100 lenght because we are building hotels and such, besides going from the 50 to the 100 is only a few dollars difference and is worth it if it keeps you moving.

Woodstock W2032 4-Inch by 20-Foot Clear Hose Review

After reading the two previous reviews, I didn't know what to expect. I just purchased a Delta 50-850 Dust Collector from Tyler Tools and the Woodstock Int'l 4" x 20' Hose and several fittings from Highland Hardware. Both have excellent customer service. The Woodstock hose took me about 20 seconds to slide over the new Delta inlet fitting. It also fit over all the other new 4" fittings. The fit is very snug, and given a choice, I wouldn't change a thing. Over time the material will probably stretch slightly. I compared the Woodstock 4" hose with the Delta 4" hose section that came with the Delta 50-850. The Delta piece took me over a minute to install and is a little tricky. The Woodstock hose wall thickness is slightly less than the wall thickness of the Delta, yet the effort required to compress the two is about the same. The Delta hose has a hefty rubbery feel and the Woodstock hose has a plastic outer spiral around vinyl with a feel similar to Shop Vac hose. In use, I couldn't tell tell the difference between the two. With the clear hose I could see the stuff flying through which was about 5 minutes of good, clean fun. On the inside, the Woodstock inner wall has slightly less intrusion of the spiral wire which should yield slightly less obstruction opportunity. Bottom Line: I would choose the half as expensive Woodstock hose over the better Delta hose, as both are more than capable of performing the task of sucking.

Little Giant SDHK114 1-1/4 Inch-by-24-Foot Sump Pump Discharge Hose Kit Review

I got this hose kit for my Wayne water discharge pump (The pump is great). This hose kit is made of cheap plastic that has a very strong coiled up memory. It is really difficult to uncoil it and keep it straight. It seems like the plastic will split very easily and I was afraid the ends would split when I tried to cram them on the adapters. Tight fit! I will say that is passes a good amount of water, hasn't split yet, but only used it once. It is inexpensive and will greatly reduce the pump time over using a garden hose. For the price, perhaps it's about right. Hope is lasts a while. Amazon was very quick to deliver it as usual. Amazon is great that way.

PSI Woodworking D50A 4-Inch by 50 Flexible Dust Collection Hose Review

I had a choice in hose selection when planning out my DC system. I figured I needed about 50 feet in connection my 6 pieces of equipment. I could either purchase this hose or 5 ten foot lengths of the "other" black hose. I bought this 50 foot hose and one ten foot section for comparision. I'm glad I got this hose.
Granted, the 50 foot hose is not as thick, but it is thick enough and sturdy enough for all my applications. It is much easier to work with, more flexible. For the price, this hose is the way to go. Even in cutting the hose, I had to poke a hole thru the hose with a pointed pair of scissors. The semi-blunted end of the wire cutters would not poke a hole in the hose!!
The ten foot hose has to be cut in the exact length needed, it will not collapse if cut too long. If cut too short...... The 50 foot hose will collapse, and if you have a machine on coasters, then when properly planned, will expand when the machine is used. The 50 foot hose arrives in a box that is only about 4 feet long, the ten foot hose arrived in a box much larger and is not compacted (it can't be).
This hose gives more options, the only negative thing in comparsion to the 10 foot hose is, it is not as rigid, or stiff. Which can be a positive thing.

Shop-Vac 9068600 2.5-Inch Hose Coupling Review

This is just a plastic sleeve which fits over the end of two 2.5 inch diameter Shop-Vac brand hoses. There isn't any means to secure the hoses from pulling apart when using this item, so if you'll be pulling the vacuum around by the hose, you may need to whip out the duct tape or even apply Shoe Goop or other product to make the connection permanent.
For general "just need to connect two lengths of hoses" for extra reach, this works fine.

I am in the process of replacing all my old rubber and Pvc hoses with Poly hoses and I recently received this one.
If you have ever been in the situation where the weight of your air hose either drags your nail gun off the roof or just becomes a hassle to drag up and down a ladder or scaffolding, then you need these hoses. They are so light that you barely notice that it's there. I live in the south so the cold weather performance isn't an issue for me, but I can tell you that they are very flexible. The only complaint that I have is that when you roll it up it tends to want to twist. It may get better as it gets broken in.

This hose is great stuff, thick walled, plastic spiral means cuts easily but still holds shape, smooth internal wall.Fits all the 2.5" ports that I have (Incra wonderfence, Rikon bandsaw, DW735 planer) as well as the dust collection fittings that woodcraft sells for 2.5" hose.

PSI Woodworking D50C 4-Inch by 50-Feet Clear Flexible Dust Collection Hose Review

The package arrived and the 50' of hose was in a 4' box. When I opened the box it turned out to be what you might describe as a heavy duty dryer hose. I pulled on the end to extend a portion of the hose and being still cold the hose broke at about 6" in. The next thing I noticed was the box was printed 12 mill vinyl in red ink, but there was a sticker added at the end of the box that said 6 mill vinyl.
The 50' was only $50 bucks so I thought I may keep it as a back up that could be made into whatever size I needed and that it may be somewhat more durable when warmed up.
Several days later I hooked it to my 110v planer then to the dust collector. Within 30 minutes holes were beginning to appear in the creases of the hose. This product might make a great dryer hose with lint passing through but don't attempt to use it for woodworking it is much to delicate for its intended use.
